     Over 11,000 children were admitted to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles this year with a life-threatening illness. Statistics show that 43% of these children do not have family to comfort them. Some are single parents who are working many jobs and simply don't have the time to visit.  

     Every child, especially those in stressful hospital situations, needs comforting.  

     We want to make sure that each hospitalized child is given a Just Mom friend.
