Meet OwieBowWowie

... and learn how you can bring comfort to a child.

OwieBowWowie and Friends is a 501(c)(3) that comforts hurts and hearts by donating "OwieBowWowie's" to children at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Each year in the United States, over 20 million children are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Forty-two percent of these children have no family or friends to visit or comfort them. This is where OwieBowWowie comes in. 

OwieBowWowie is an adorable 14" hospital-approved plush stuffed puppy that brings hospitalized children comfort at a time when they are scared, hurting or lonely for a friend to simply be there with them. Our goal is to meet the need of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and provide an OwieBowWowie to each of the 1,000 children admitted each month. This is where you come in. 

Will you donate an "OwieBowWowie" to a child today. We don't want to leave one of those 1,000 children out, because ultimately... which child would we choose?

Comfort helps children believe in their dreams…

With a comforting hug, they can do anything.

Comfort rocks a child to sleep with a song…

Gives them a friend when they need to hold on.

Comfort can help their fears go away…

There’s nothing worse than to have a bad day!

Comfort is what every child needs…

A child in need, needs a friend indeed.

OwieBowWowie is my name, and once you’ve given me to a child…

They will never been the same!

A smile you will see as they hold me tight…

Mission complete as they kiss me goodnight!
